Conference on Precision Agriculture Technologies
16th March 2018, Chennai – 6th Edition
I take pleasure in informing that the Tamil Nadu Technology Development & Promotion Centre of CII is planning to organize the 6th edition of AgriCon 2018: Conference on Precision Agriculture Technologies on 16th March 2017 at Hotel Westin,Chennai
Indian agriculture is facing the two most crucial challenges today. If the shrinking resources of land and water are one, the other more serious concern is the availability of human resources. The future of agriculture is dependent on penetration of scale-neutral technologies. The trend has already begun in some ways, with those who remain in farming turning to newer methods of optimizing the output on their farms, including adopting newer technologies to save cost and time.
In this context, the conference with a Research and Development in Productivity and Farm engineering in mind and focusing on addressing new concerns includes methods of smart farming, the effective utilization of agricultural inputs and post-harvest management by applying modern engineering concepts. The conference attempts to support this growth and understand the trends in Precision Agriculture Technologies, Mechanization and ICT Technologies, Post-harvest management. The conference aims to focus on key growth parameters like technology innovation, new products, new markets, next-generation technology, & implications for allied industries.
