In recent years, consumption of fruit-based smoothies has increased. Fruit based smoothies generally contain high levels of nutrients such as antioxidants, fibers, and vitamins. Smoothies are a blended form of beverage which are a typical semi-liquid, smooth consistency, containing fruit(s), concentrated juice, and other complements such as yogurt, milk, or honey, and are prepared with different combinations of fruit.
