The food processing scenario in Kanpur:

The fruits and vegetable industry- The prominent processed items are fruit pulps and juices, fruit-based ready-to serve beverages, canned F&V, jams, squashes, pickles, chutneys, and dehydrated vegetables. The major products processed and exported are dried and preserved vegetables.

Dairy industry- Chief products manufactured are infant milk food, malted food, condensed milk and cheese
