Initiatives are undertaken by Government
To make the environment industry-friendly, State Government of Maharashtra has introduced various incentives such as financial incentives linked to fixed capital, power tariff subsidy and Industrial promotion subsidy (IPS). With the Single Window Clearances, registration and processing of application have been simplified. The state government intends to provide 5% subsidy on capital equipment for technology up gradation and 25% subsidy on capital equipment for cleaner production measures.
