Initiatives are undertaken by Government
To make an environment more conducive for food processing industries, State Government of Maharashtra has announced package scheme of incentives. Financial incentives linked to fixed capital, power tariff subsidy and Industrial promotion subsidy (IPS) are among few of them. With the Single Window Clearances, registration and processing of application have been simplified. The state government intends to provide 5% subsidy on capital equipment for technology up gradation and 25% subsidy on capital equipment for cleaner production measures.
